    Default x force exhausts

    Hi all

new to the forum My vy ss ute has an x force system on it and I wanted to know if anyone has had an issues with the cats or mufflers and them blocking up?
Im confident that my 02 sensors are very lazy which have more than likely killed my cats, although I think the system has cleaned itself now

just your thoughts and expeirences with the x force systems would be great Thanks

General consensus on this forum is that they are absolutely rubbish, I can't speak from experience though.

Absolute pieces of SHIT. I was clever enough to buy one - it didn't fit right.

It's 20mm shorter on the passenger side
it hangs too high in the middle - one of the hangers taps on the tailshaft
the pipes pass too close to the diff coupling rubber and have started to melt it.
the exhaust tip on the driver side points up at a 30 degree angle.

    NEVER AGAIN!

LOL never ever again compare X-force with Mantra or Diffilippo! both brands are way ahead of the cheap X-force.
some people may like X-force... but that maybe cuase they couldnt afford Mantra/Diffilippo (and other same brands KPM etc)

I dont think its the kind of system I would buy but it was on car, doesn't sound nice until you get some revs in it, sound like one of them utes from the bush... the ones that sound like a cowboy gargling cum.

    Thanks for info all

EVERY exhaust manufacturer makes exhausts on a Friday - therefore they're always going to have problematic fitting ones. Ive personally put three xforce 3" twin exhausts on VE SS' and every one fit perfect, I was just lucky enough to get a dodgy one. Regardless of the fit it's a good sounding and high flowing exhaust and doesn't drone on the highway

I have a 3" Stainless full Xforce catback twin 4" chrome outlet system on my 2005 CV8Z Monaro with Hurricane Extractors & Cats , I reckon it's fantastic... The Xforce cost $1500 (new), Hurricanes cost $450 (2nd Hand) . It fitted Perfectly, was a well packed kit arrived undamaged by courier, & was superbly polished. Sounds magnificent. Great sound outside & not too droney inside the car. I reckon for 2 grand it's a superb system. Cant speak highly enough , of it......

Ive got the XForce on my VE2 SSV and LOVE it, as for not affording the DeFillipino or KPG i do earn $140K a year and i bought the XForce after extensive research,It looks great in Stainless and sounds wild, no drone as i followed recommendations and got 2.5" (well recomendations is 2.25" buts whats .25") i dont pay much attention to people here as their level of expertise is pushing shopping trolleys or something.Of course their belief is the system they got is the best and every thing else is crap.

I laugh at how some people are complaining of a few mm here and there on fitment of an entire pre fabricated exhaust. What do you expect? Do you think that the manufacturing tolerances and then long term rigidity of a commodore are that good that every single floor pan of every commodore is the same to the nearest mm? If you want a perfect fit then custom is the only way, if you don't want to burn $$$ then tweak a good value kit like the x force. I don't see the sense in paying double for a marginally better quality item that is fit and forget and only seen when on a hoist.
Cheap, fast, reliable.....you only get to choose two.
