Hi all
I know where I can get a set of vx clubsport R8 extractors and I was wondering if anyone knew how they'd go on my series 1 vy ss ute
If you are wanting bolt on then you will need the extractors and the cats as they go together to match up to the catback position.
Pretty sure you'll have to modify your std cat pipes for the extractors alone to bolt on.

I was wondering about performance wether they're reasonable quality extractors or not?
No not really, the HSV YV2 (285) extractors are the ones to get, 44mm primaries (41mm VT2-VY1) and 2 1/2" secondaries (2 1/4" VT2-VY1).
Otherwise just go good quality aftermarket 4 into 1, 1 3/4" extractors.

If I can get pretty cheap though they have to be better than the stock manifold right?
Only if you get them cheap, otherwise save up and get some Pacemakers or something similar.

Does anyone know of where I can get a set cheap set of vy 2 hsv extractors?
ive been looking at extractors from usa that are fitted to a pontiac gto 04 model, i would love to know if they fit.
yea they would fit, but why bother they weigh too much and it'll end up costing you as much as a decent set from this country
