hi i have just purchased a vy ute with a l67 supercharged engine in it and im having trouble replacing the fuel pump as the fuel gauge is not working and im pretty sure it only has the normal v6 pump in it and might be causing it to run pretty crappy under full throttle and such. what i wanted to know was do the sedan fuel pumps fit the utes?? also if they dont would it be possibly better to buy a ss ute fuel pump as its the supercharged engine or better again possibly buy an aftermarket fuel pump as i wouldnt mind doing a few mods and making some more power in the future so im pretty stuck on what i should do and any help would be appreciated. thanks
replace old fuel pump with stock pump and fit an surge+bosch 044.
thats what i have in my stroked/blown V8. still useing the standard intake pump and got a 2ltr surge tank with an 044 pump and a Fuel lab reg.
want to see more then a typical commodore fitted with an exhuast, then check my thread out... link broken cuase i dont own a tuff car, i just made it up...
