Vy v6 head and cam package

Hey guys I'm wanting to do the head and cam in my v6, I know it's a waste of time in a v6, but I wanna do it for the experience, wondering if anyone knows If the standard ecu will run it, or if there is a chip you can use, becoz ive heard you can't tune the vy ecus, any help would be appreciated.

Yes the standard PCM will work. Certainly not at its peak though so i'd certainly recommend a slightly modified tune to suit. VY PCM's run a flash tune and therefore done't have a removable memcal. They CAN be retuned by the right tuner. Personally i'd recommend Dicks Electronics in Sydney.

Thanks heaps buddy, no anyone in Melbourne who does it? And do you know if it's just as simple as putting the cam in, do you have to modify anything?

Don't know anyone in Melb sorry, but the whole car is not needed to modify a flash tune, just the pcm so you can always remove it and post it.
