Digital speedo

Just bought a VY wagon filled it up with gas and the digital speedo has brought up everything on the LCD display, when you first turn on the car it comes up with the Holden sign and everything ok but then the LCD display fills in and cannot be read. Is this a common problem and easily fixed or there a short in my fuel sender the rest of the gauges work.

Try doing the test screen.

Hold down Menu and Set. Turn key to On. Use mode to go through menu, the test page should be last. I believe all the gauges go to half, all the lights, and pixels on the LCD should light up.
