Thumbs up MAF port and polish

i found a cool artical from the states that all you ppl with your MAF still in might like, its a DIY port and polish mod for your MAF, i did it when i had a MAF still and noticed it breathed better and had more top end power oh and sounded throatier on full throttle, it apparently runs leaner too,

    check out MAF MOD

it takes about 1 hour to do give or take it and cost nothing if you have the tools e.g. hack saw and dremel, enyoj

it is generally a better method of modification to do it properly and use something like LS1 edit to adjust the einge parameters in a controlled manner. Tricking the computer by altering the MAF can have a favorable outcome for power but can also make the engine run dangerously lean etc.

Mabee an expert in LS1 modification like highlander69 can confirm this cos hes' done all the testing.

yeh ive done the ls1 edit but back when i had no funds it did the trick for me, and i talked to the guy who did my ls1 edit and he seemed to think it was a safe mod to do as your not changing it by much, they also sell big bore mafs which in effect is wat your doing but again with out a tune it could run too lean, im not a tuner i wouldnt know lol
