ute lid central locking

i want to put central locking on my yv ss utes hard lid, ive seen the lid lok kits for 435 bucks but wanted to know if anyone has seen a cheaper suitable option ? or even if someone has done one themselves?

Easy if you are fine with wiring, you will need 2 relays ones with an 87a terminal, a decent fuse holder and fuse, a locking actuator and some wiring.
Made up a quick diagram, you will need to find the locking and unlocking triggers which can be done with a test light and the wires can be found going into any door, just unplug the harness and test each wire.
