you do know there is a thread just like this was started a few days ago read this > What size rims suit a VY
crap i did look i must of looked right past it, cheers
did read over, however doesnt really answer anything about what needs to get done to the car to get it safe/responisable
Your local tyre place should be able to offer you the needed advice.
Laws differ between states, but I am under the impression that all states now have the rule of maximum increase of rolling diameter by 15mm. This simply means you will have to get lower profile tyres in order for it to be legal, and your local tyre place should give you the correct advice as far as this goes.
The other problem you may encounter is your tyres rubbing on the insides of your guards. This is a simple job for a panel beater who use a heat gun (so the paint doesn't crack) and a mallet to "roll" your guards. Normally it's only required for the rear guards, costs around $50 too $100 per guard.
Other than that, you don't really need to do anything to prepare for 20's, just prepare yourself for war vs. potholes.
ok thank you for your help, that answers a few questions. i should just have a chat with a tyre shop
