annoying sound at idle, sometimes (coming from front passenger side ) vy v6 s2

i get this knocking noise at the front passenger side when at idle its really annoying anyone have any idea whats causing it

i have the same noise with my vy.i have been to 3 mechanics and have posted here but i cant get any answers or ideas.

Is it in the engine bay or inside the car? Is it with ac on or off or both if it's on the it could be the compressor

Have u got heat shields on the exhaust? Mine had them, they come loose. Rattled. Got them cut off at exhaust joint. No rattle.

exhaust clamps might have come loose? I had this problem too and fixed it by redoing my exhaust clamps. Mine was aftermarket though. Could happen to factory fitting though.

i had a knocking sound only when i was in drive and stationary, was coming from the glove box area/behind it...turned out it was some a\c component rattling against the firewall
