how to pull this out

Hi there , i am uploading this pic and wanna know how can i pull the silver garnish out as i have knocked the black air vent out of its place ,, how do i put the air vents back to its place , do i need to open the whole thing ,,if yes then could i please get a head start on how to....

and also with the other pic i wanna ask how can i fix the screw holes,, do i need to get the new part (Dnt know what its called) or i am thinking of getting a screw on phone holder but am unable to find one here in melbourne..

There is a How-To on VY dash and centre cosole removal. This would be your best bet.

remove the screw underneath the flap thingy under the head unit, the dash bit around the gear leaver should all pop out, then remove the 2 screws that hold the bottom of the dash in, either side of the storage thingy under the head unit, remove the top of the dash (square bit) by prying it up, and remove the 4 screws under that. after that, it all should unclip. also search if what i said makes no sense at all lol

From your pics, it looks like the vent that is affected is in the rear panel of your console. If so, that whole panel is held in by two screws, down low on either side, behind the front seats. Just unscrew them, pull the panel out from the bottom and it will unclip from beneath the centre armrest. You will then be able to re-position the vent easily.

My rear air vent in my VY has done the exact same thing! Have to get around to fixing it.
