seatbelt light?

nothing major compared to the things ive been reading today, but just out of curiosity is there any reason my seatbelt light in my ss doesnt come on when its not plugged in? and what other lights are meant to come on in my cluster when u put it in acc, my srs, hand brake, battery and oil light come up, are there any others, or is there just alot of wasted space?

doesn't come on in my brothers vy ute either, so i don't know if it supposed to be like that or not. i wish it didn't happen in my vy sedan its bloody annoying when i move my car out of the driveway.

at least i know its not a problem with my cluster or anything, i plan on geting some lighting effects done to it now.

I have a stock VY series 2 exec it used to flash an beep. After putting a VY Calais cluster in it on comes up on the screen no beeping

My VY Exec Sedan does the same thing. Comes on when I start car, then goes out after a few seconds even if seat belt isn't on. Got told by a dealer that 'Police Mode' disables seatbelt warning, but sure that's a load of a crap since I'm sure it did it before I got that turned on

Yeah mate police mode doesn't do shit to the seatbelt warning, my sedan did it before cop mode was enabled and still does it now.

My VY2 Berlina still beeps and i have police mode enabled. I would assume the cop cars have the switch shorted so it thinks the seat belt is always plugged in.

I guess that cop cars have a need to have the seat belt beeper disabled - but it could be seperate from the whole 'police mode' thing ?
