    You mean outside the car???

If so, best place will be hooked to the inside of your wheelie bin or maybe you want a defect?
Sorry, it's your car, but if you really want them, then there are several power supply options.

I expected a few people not to like it, I personally like them, as to the defect, it's not illegal to have them, it's just illegal to have on while driving, which I don't intend to do.

What sort of power options r there?

Lol I expect the wow factor to run out, I've got a remote control to control the main control box, the power wires for that arnt overly long, not long enough to reach the battery

personaly, i dont see much benifit from heavily moddifying a NA V6. i drive a NA V6 myself and the only performance mods i will be doing are the yella terra rockers and a cat back exhaust. and even then, the only reason im doing these mods is because a mate of mine no longer needs his rockers so he is giving them to me haha. i have heard good things about rockers + cat back combo so maybe head down that route??

OK. The wires aleady on it need to be lengthened. Probably only the +ive, unless you want to run -ive to your battery as well, or you can ground it to the car's body.
If auto tranny, then run your wire through the clutch cable grommet into the engine bay.
As I don't know the current draw ths is the safest method, fused, of course.
Otherwise there are many other power supply options in the cabin aleady.

    Dear Revhead2011.

I suggest you just use the search function instead of posting in the wrong place
and if you're getting the rockers for free why would you even ask.

mad story mate, but he was referring as to power to run gay neons, not performance.

Personally id think neon's are abit ricey but its your car and its your choice mate, neons in the engine bay are cool 2

id grab the wire from the fuse box under ya steering wheel, pretty central and id doubt they'd draw much power to need it directly connected to the battery anyway.

I don't know about the laws in Vic, but in NSW, it's illegal to have blue, red or orange even fitted to the outside of your car unless you are an emergency vehicle. It is also illegal to have them running on, or even near public roads (including carparks visible from the road) as they are deemed to be a distraction to other drivers. Just something to think about.

I did this too, also to a lancer coupe. Looked alright considering the car it was on and that it cost me $50 to do for over 450 lights, however I would never do this to a commodore. And from the sounds of it, you're not very electrically aware in terms of how to hook it onto power so maybe I'd get somebody else to do it and watch what they do and maybe try and do one yourself after you know roughly what to do.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car

From what i was told by a cop once down her in vic was that you can have any colour lights around, apart from at the back... the only colour you can have at the back is red.
