Car Help Please

Hey just recently i had my car serviced, i had the spark plugs changed, oil filter changed, oil filled, colant filled, and a few more.

i need some help because now after picking it up the first 0 k's was fine but now the car hardly goes twice around the block, with out the engine failing, i called them and they said it is only a minor thing...... what minor thing????, i need my car this afternoon, and they cant fix it until monday, please help guys, im in desprate need, and i dont need to be pulling over ever 2 minutes .

What do you mean engine failing ? Does it just stall ? Does it start straight back up ? How does it idle when first started ?

They didn't change your fuel filter did they?
If not it may be blocked, I can't see that anything they did that you mentioned could have caused this. I'd bet that's what it is. Check your service book and see when it was last replaced.

o dear the thin is, is that my car is dual fuel..... i know, i know, but it runs with petrol but it doesn't run on gas, i have no idea what is going on so confusing.
and yes the engine i believe stalls, i am able to start it back up straight after, and it runs perfectly on idle on gas, but when its running it only last's 1 min max before stalling.......

So it runs - idles and drives perfectly on Petrol - and will idle fine on Gas, but stalls when driving on gas?

I was gunna say if they changed your plugs you might wanna check the condition of your leads as they could be sparking across due to the new plugs but if it's only happening with the gas you might just have to wait for the mechanic

yeah i took it back to them but unfortunately they don't have the scope with gas systems so he is going to get one of his mates in who has the scope to be able to analyse it, but still help over the forum to save me time and money would be fantastic

i was driving it again today on gas and this time when it stalled i got a check alternator warning..... help please

i had a VT on gas that did the exact same thing, i got the leads changed etc and it didnt fix it, mine started back firing and blew my air box to bits lol, never did get it fixed as like urs it ran fine on gas, although i was told a possiblilty could be somthing to do with mixture, i dunno as it was years ago but might be an idea to check out, sorry i couldnt help more.

im taking it to the gas specialists sometime next week, the company i got it serviced through will be there, to see the total it comes to with the repairs, and i will find out the costs from there
