ls1 engine missing on idle

hi i have a vy 03 one tonner with the ls1 and just recently its been missing a bit on idle and hesitates and jumps when u accelarate, i asked at auto barn if it could be the fuel filter or leads, but if it was the fuel filter i would get a flat spot on hard acceration wouldnt i and serging on the highway i dont get either, so he thought i might be a coil pack maybe! any thoughts would be great help. thanks,

i did purchase a new fuel filter any way but i cant find the fuel filter on my ute i look all over near the tank and its not there. its a one tonner if any one has one could u please help to locate it for me.

I know on the styleside utes the fuel filter is right behind the back wheel under tray on the drivers side. Check your plug leads are pushed into the coils right, one of my leads keeps popping off the coils and makes it run like poo

Check oxygen sensors - my bet is that they will be the problem. Otherwise, ensure all leads / plugs are properly fitted and that you don't have any fuel / air filter blockages. See if you can get it to Holden, or an Lxx tuning shop and they can scan it for you.

hey thanks for advise, i checked the leads and one broken in half so i replaced all leads they were wrecked, i still need to know were the fuel filter is i got a car manual and it shows it near fuel tank near the black charcol canister but my filter is not next to it, so any on who has a one tonner please advise.
