is it normal for water to come out of these holes as soon as you open the boot after its been raining or a couple days after it was raining, it keeps happening and the water keeps wetting my audio gear, so annoying
these 2 holes in this picture

Rear spoiler needs re-sealing I would guess? As clearly it's not normal unless you like having a drink dispenser :P
Cheers,
Dave
yeah my girlfriends vt does is and no its not normal...Haven't been bothered to fix it you just need to re seal the spoiler.
or put cups underneath and lol then it can be a drink dispenser![]()
I have no spoiler and no water leaks, so I would have to agree with spoiler hole rubbers.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
umm how do u re seal it under teh spoiler ?
i would assume there are rubber grommets around the bolts holding the spoiler in place. try removing the spoiler and see if there is perished rubbers or any sign of where the water is coming in.

ohh umm how do you remove the spoiler?
its a common vt problem, mine used to do it until i got an aftermarket boot panel
ohh umm ok kool, i dunno if i can get to the brake light wiring with the deadener in the way?
probably not? i didnt read that how to guide I just searched it and shared the link for ya man
ok yeah idk otherwise il have to snip em and re join them if i cant find the plug
now how does that work, water comes out of that hole and the spoiler holes are there

When you lift the boot all the water travels down?
no, it comes out of the actual hole i mean from the inside
there was no need to take the spoiler off but now i did i can see how it looks and consider leaving it off or putting it back on
Where the spoiler bolt holes are located on the boot, there should be rubber seals.
My son replaced the old, rusted bolts from his spoiler and while it was off, we made new rubbers out of bicycle inner tube.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
yeah but the spoiler holes has nothing to do where the water is coming thru from the hole
so your saying you have a mysterious hole in the top of your boot that isn't where the spoiler was?
Pour some bloody water over your boot and do some investigating. We aren't there with you, we can't physically examine your boot for you, use some bloody initiative and try to work it out yourself. I get that it's a forum, but I don't think you get the fact that we can't always give you an answer from our computers.
