Default 4 window control switch in place of 2 window

Hi, i have an exec with just the front windows electric.

I'll say i want to rather then need to, replace the control. They still work but the buttons are broken, only just sittin there, and need to hold the button with thumb and finger and leaver it up and down. was like this when i bought 6months ago, god knows how both buttons got broken in the hindge or whatever.

Anyway, I want to replace it, and was going to goto a wreckers, and see if i can get one cheap.. $60 on ebay.

What i want to know is if i found one that was a 4window control, would this be fine to put in place. Or will the plug/harness be different, and not be as simple as plug and play.

    Thanks

ok just pulled it out. the control box itself has 13 pins 6 on either side and one in the middle. but on the plug(car side) there were 4 wires on the left the 2 pins on the inside missing, and all 6 on the right, plus the middle one.

edit: ok just rang the wreckers, he sold his last one "an hour ago" *rolls eyes* but anyway he sells for $66 dollars... lol get really not paying that for a possilbe 8 year old switch from a written off car that could bust after a few weeks.

It's got the same wireing there as the 4 doors, next step is to see if u have the wireing in the rear doors, easiest way to check is to take of the door panel and have a look for a spare wire, otherwise you might need to buy rear door looms with power window wires, I'm at work at the moment but I have a 4 door switch... Has minor damage u could have it for 50, but you'd need to wait till I bought another one for myself haha and would need to find out postage cost haha

Edit: when you buy the rear door regs they might be able to supply you with door looms
