    Default Series 1 or 2

    I just bought this speedo but not sure if its series 1 or 2 , i got 3 day to return , so wanna ask where can i check if its series 2 or not , i

    i am uploading the lable pic and the connector pic if it could help ,

    Dont wanna pull my cluster off to check if it works or not ,is there any other way to get it checked like to an auto elec or to from holden....

    Just swap the clusters over, its a 5 minute job all you need is a star screwdriver.

    I have an old series 2 exec cluster and the part number is the same 92160978

    The colour of the wiring plug socket on the back of the cluster is your quickest guide. I can't recall how it works but grey like yours appears to be a Series 2 and I think the Series 1 was either blue or green. Someone else here will be able to confirm that.

    if any 1 could shed some light on how to pull the cluster from my car then i will try it today to install and check if its the right one, bcoz i tried to unscrew the cluster but the silver garnish didnt come out , are there any other screws apart from those 2 on the top or any more to pull the cluster out........

    there are 2 screws at the top in the cluster surround. and if i remember rightly 4 screws to hold the cluster in[2 in the top and 2 in the bottom]

    The instrument surround only has the two screws at the top and clips in at the bottom. Remove the two screws, pull the surround out from the top and the lower clips should release.
