Vy S-pac holding 1st for a rather unusual amount of time.

hello all,

the problem is my vy s-pac, is that it doesnt want to change out of first in a hurry (everything is also standard, apart from the obvious, low, big wheels and fluffy dice) it will rev out to about 6500rpm when getting up it a bit from take off, but taking off normally it revs out to about 4500- 5000rpm, I have tried switching between power shift and normal shift, but still exactly the same.

So any help would be excellent and thank you.

Take your foot off :P at 5000rpm if you even move your foot the slightest up it switches.

Could be something stupid like you leaving it in 1st (which i hope it's not)

Check your transmission fliuds and levels, it may be on it's way out.


Also try resetting your ECU (take off positive AND negative off battery) for 15 mins or so.
