    Default Seats quick help!!

Hey guys I need a hand quickly from someone. I'm trying to install new front seats an I was stupid enough not to pay attention where the airbag cords were run.

I need someone to have a look for me whether the cables run under the seat track or over it?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps

From what I can recall, the wiring runs over the track because it needs to be able to move forwards and backwards with the seat. If you run it under the track, it can become trapped.

Yea I'm unsure..... There is a cut out in the carpet so it appears it could run under an be completely away from the track

If you can run it clear of any mechanism and it is free to permit fore and aft movement, then go for it. I pulled my seat out years ago without taking any notice, and just ran them over the top, making sure they were well clear of the rails and were clipped up firmly.

Well, that sorts it. Whack 'em underneath and just make sure they accommodate seat movement.
