Just wondering what size the sump plug is on my vy v6 exec?? I've got a m14x1.5... Is that correct?? Thanks
i think its bigger than a 14m the head is 19mm and the threds a bigger than that.
The head of the steel sump plug takes a 3/4 inch spanner or a 19 mm metric spanner.
If you measure the diameter of the threaded plug end it should be approximately 22 mm across (including the width of the thread).
The height of the plug is approximately 19 mm.
If that is what you have then it is probably the correct one. I do not know what the standard " thread designation" is for this plug.
use a 6 hex 19mm socket, many people at my work round em using mulit hex spanners etc. ive always used em n never had a prob
