Hey guys, I have finally had enough of the stockyness of my engine, so, do I.... A; buy a engine from a VY clubsprot and do a simple swap? or B; upgrade it with a turbo or supercharger? and or C; do all forged internals, exhaust, air intake and re-mapping?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
All of your ideas are going to come at a price
A: Engine Swap - a Short list your going to need to swap

and get your new v8 ECU Synced to your old BCM
any Bolt on Supercharger or Turbo is going to be an expensive procedure with -
Remapping the computer to take boost
reinforcing the motor
Exhaust
intake
Intercooler Piping
and the 3rd option, no point of making forged internals unless your going to make it work harder (Cam or Boost)
could swap it out for a factory supercharged v6any Bolt on Supercharger or Turbo is going to be an expensive procedure with -
What is your budget?

could just do the bright thing, sell you're car and use the money you we're going to use to do work to you're car on just buying a vx/vu/vy ss, they're cheap as chips now...
livin' the low life.
Step 1 - Use money on selling car and buy something with two more cylinders![]()
buy two 4 cylinder corollas?? lolStep 1 - Use money on selling car and buy something with two more cylinders
but yeah v8 would probably be cheapest in terms of power for money... maybe not as much fun as modding your car but then you can always mod the 8![]()
Ha, funny enough, I'm selling it and buying a sv8...so, out the window that idea goes
