Hey guys i have a vy s pack ute 2003 model and have noticed a strange noise when i am accelerating mainly between 20-70kmh.
it sorta sounds like air or fluid hissing and i can hear it clearly in the cab. up behind the steering wheel somewhere. it has me stumped it will go away for a day and come back 4 a week!!!

i have heard things like it could be the purge hose or a vacum leak. or even it is excess fuel returning to the tank. the ute has done 220000k

any help would be appreciated as it is a little annoying. from what i remember it started after i flattened it for about 7 seconds and then it made the noise and that was the 1st time i heard it maybe something blew off dunno
