Steering wheel controls
I have just tried to replace the steering wheel controls on my VY series 2 SS. The controls I received via mail have less wiring to mine. The serial number is totally different as well. Is there a difference with these controls in regards to single disc or six disc?
were your old controls backlit?

No they weren't. I have spoken to the wrecker that found them for me and they are confused as well. They think there may be a difference from VY and VY series2. He also asked if my car was a calais which it obviously isnt. My car is the higher spec with different heater/AC setup, digital not dial.Funnily enough after I put everything back together the original buttons are working fine. Still there is a fault in the circuit board and will need to be replaced anyway.
Received replacement controls and they are off a VY series 2 Calais. All good. Thanks guys for your feedback
