VY S2 SS - Engine Reminder - How to turn off?

Hey all,

I want to turn the service reminder off the SS. The manual is no help as according to it an authorised Holden dealer will turn it off after servicing the vehicle.

It ain't going to one for a service so I want to turn it off.

Anyone know how?

Service Reminder Reset?

Hi Moodieblue here

1. Turn ignition off
2. Press and hold the trip computer UP button and Down button
3. Turn ignition on while holding buttons
4. After approx 3 seconds, release the buttons
5. The service menu appears with a reset request
6. Press and hold the SET button for more than 3 seconds
7. Press the MODE button
8. Turn ignition off

It is quite easy to do if you follow this procedure, this is on page 2 of the Service Booklet, and you are right, it is not in the manual itself
