ls1 cam, lifters and tune

Just wondering if someone could tell me roughly what I would expect to pay for a new cam and set of lifters and a tune. And any recommendations of where to go and what sort of cam

Firstly go a find a good LSx tuner in your area and have a chat, but packages range between $2-3K.

These usually consist of Cam/Springs/Retainers/Push Rods/OTR/Tune(dyno)... >$3-6K You can then add Exhaust/25% UDP/Roller Rockers and if your going to do the lifters... I would get the shop to send the heads off to Higgins for some CNCing(Porting).

at the end of the day the question you need to ask yourself is: "What are you trying to achieve?"

I have 1 shocking lifter and figured if I was replacing lifters I would replace the cam.

My mate had a "turbo Killer cam" put in his LS1 and it was tuned (remap) on the dyno both hot and cold for about 3k.

But as Darcon said get your heads done if replacing lifters
