Default Where can I get my calipers painted in Newcastle ?

There are a heap of threads on this subject..so its all good if the mods need to move this to a different place. I just couldnt find a specific thread other than where can I get my calipers painted in Brisbane lol.

So anyway, yep from reading lots of posts it seems that its not that hard to do it yourself but Im not physically in a postion to be able to have a go at it myself, and my brother lives in Sydney. Since getting the CSA Black Razor wheels put on recently, the calipers look crap and annoy me daily. So with my VY colour being "Redhot", Im thinking red calipers. This may be a long shot since understandably you guys ususally do your car stuff yourself...so you may not be able to answer this. I just dont want to get ripped off or have someone use crap materials. So if anyone can recommend someone in Newcastle area that would be great. Cheers

to get a workshop to do it for you would cost more than its worth... get a friend to help you or have a go at it yourself its not that hard

if you are confident in bleeding brakes (i had no clue and still did a good job of it) its even easier as you just remove the calipers from the car altogether and saves a lot of time in taping up

Shops such as Bob Jane (and probably others) are offering packages where you can get 4 mag rims, tyres and they'll also paint the calipers. So, tyre shops do it, but as that is all you'd want them to do, it may cost you a bit.

Other than that, you'd be looking at spray painting places. I'd check local tyre shops for quotes first.

As Ive said twice before I do appreciate people taking the time to reply, but Im injured. A neck thats so far out of alignment the physios cant even lay their hands on it yet, a damaged ankle that was trapped and a back injury and shoulder injury......so no cant take the wheel off myself I dont like to whinge or go into detail, but dont think people listen.
Once again I do appreciate the replies.

Nah I "heard" you it's just that there is a, I'm injured category and then there's a train wreck category. Now I'm guessing you're in the latter.
I guess we were just trying to save you some coin. Hope the recovery goes well.

When I had a set of new rims and Tyres put on mine, Bob Jane painted them for me at no extra cost. IMO, your best bet is to simply as some tyre stores in your area

Well my doctor has given me the ok to drive, and as Im a single parent what choice do I have. On the days that Im in pain and my concentration levels arent at their best then I dont drive because I feel its unsafe to the other people on the road...which is more consideration than the high range drunk prick who did this to me...but thanks for your concern

Why does it have to be done now? Just wait till you're better and have a go at it yourself...

Or invite your brother up to your house for lunch/dinner one day and get him to do it...
