Depends on you definition of modded. If by modded you mean a 4.2L stroker running two big turbos, running high boost than yes it seems right.

The stall/torque converter doesn't magically multiply your torque. It allow you to bring the revs up to (ideally) your torque band.

And a dyno run is usually done with the torque converter locked-up.

Torque converter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The key characteristic of a torque converter is its ability to multiply torque when there is a substantial difference between input and output rotational speed, thus providing the equivalent of a reduction gear.
As I said earlier, a dyno run is done with the torque converter 'locked-up', meaning that both side are spinning at the same speed.

If the torque readout was wrong, then likely the power was wrong, because the power is derived using a formula from the torque. A million this could have caused all this, car not strapped down right, operator entering wrong car info, etc.

And I mean the torque converter locked, which doesn't apply to you because you have a manual.

Oh and you said stock 3.46 gears, the commodores came out with 3.08 in most models with the VYs, did you change it or do you have some optional diff?

Also what mods have you done? Nice to see some people just giving a poke to the ol' ecotec.

Oh yeah things I should add to mine are full engine rebuild, with all new bearing, all new valve springs, seals, etc, and all ported heads.

How does the dual 2.5" sound, and how many mufflers?

I just have single 2.5" exhaust, with twin hurricane mufflers. I told them to put in the biggest resi in the back that they could fit, LOL, I started getting sick of a loud exhaust. I think it sounds alright now, not too loud, but still noticeable.
