    Default Urgent help coolant

    Ok I've dropped my coolent and have done a compleat flush, my question is, the bloke at repco sold me nulon red coolant consecrate and said that it exceeds the standards for my vy, is this correct before I fill the car up on it.. Cheers

    That's what I run in my vy mate. No problems at all so far and was told by Holden this is an acceptable coolant to run.

    i always use the genuine gm dexcool coolant, as it is a long life coolant and i don't need to change as often. The nulon should be fine, as long as it is recommended for the model/age of car.

    The Red Coolant is for alloy engines.
    Just standard Nulon long life green is fine. But as said its ok to run if told by holden i guess
