Need to replace rear shocks ?

hey guys i put my car in for a road worthy today because I'm trying to sell it on carsales.com

2003 HOLDEN COMMODORE ACCLAIM VY Private Cars For Sale in QLD - carsales.com.au

but it didn't pass the rwc, they reckon i need new rear shock

my question is should i just buy the stock holden shocks or could I buy some other shocks maybe lower or some shocks that could increase rde smoothness ?

I dont really know anythng about rear shocks but I do know how to fit them so advise on what to buy would be very helpfull

buy the cheapest if you are selling it.

Agreed cheapest ones to get it through the rwc and then the buyer can decide the future of rear shocks.

Agreed just buy the cheapest shocks you can to get it through RWC, don't waste money if you are selling it anyway.

If you are going to sell it just put the original holden ones on they are generally quite cheap anyway

Just cheapest, go to auto barn etc, get a set for about 100$ for GT Monroes

Is it leaking oil? Just degrease it and take it to another RWC :P

If it's knocking/banging just go to supercheap/etc and get the cheapest pair of shocks.
