VY S2 commodore Dash lights not coming on

the S pac iv owned for 2 years has just lost all lights behind the speedo and tack as well as all the air con dials, the LCD screen is still lit up and when i put the dash into cop mode in one selection it puts the speedo to 100k/h (top dead) and lights up everything so i am assuming its not the bulbs. does anyone know what this is caused by? i recently had a trailer attached to the factory tow pack, which blue a fuse in my mates impreza, though my fuses seem fine. would this have caused the fault? headlight, indicators and everything else works but i have no light behind the speedo and tack.

sounds like a blown parklight fuse, are your front parklights, rear parklights and numberplate lights working?

Could be a fuse... From memory a 25amp is the suspect... otherwise Could be a faulty light switch maybe, it won't have blown any bulbs as it is lit up by leds and the leds are grouped so if one blows or shorts the rest will still work.
