Hi Guys.
Can anyone check for me that they have a rubber seal for the aerial wire that goes through from the out side to the inside of the cabin.
just open passenger door, look passed the hinge to the aerial wire that goes in through to the cabin
photo here to help the rubber i mean. The One passed the door wire, the aerial wire. Is it suppose to have a rubber seal ? its been replaced before i got the car, and seem because its not sealed this is why my footwell is getting soaked. Its not the windscreen or door seal so hoping this is it, i removed the carpet etc all around, poured water over this section, about it is dry inside, underneath is wet.

your car should have one, maybe when they replaced it they didnt seat it correctly, you might find that the grommet is on the cable but just inside the car, if you remove the Passanger kick trim and take the ECU off its bracket you will find the hole and the antenna cable behind that, check for a grommet if there is one just push it back into place making sure for a tight seal
If there isnt one you can find a connector behind the ECU, unplug it get a new grommet to fit, say from Repco or supercheap? cut a small hole in the middle and stretch the grommet over the cable
Na its missing for sure, i ripped appart the passenger side since there was a good 1 cm of water under the carpet.
I just put some clear silicon around it, should do the trick. if not then ill try and find the grommet lol
