Default EOI for 26mm AT radiators

    G'day guys,

I recently got to talking to a guy that imports radiators and asked if he can get us any sort of deal for a bulk buy/group buy situation. He reckons that for a buy of 20 VY radiators, that we could get them for pretty much an even $100 maybe just under + post of course which I would have to figure out.

Just getting an idea of if anyone is keen before going ahead with it.. im sure they would sell on ebay if nothing else!

It uses the Transmission Oil cooler on the left in the picture and has a 26mm core.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Let me know if anyone is interested, even if you just get one for a backup as the VY's are at the age where their radiators are starting to get iffy.

Also let me know if you are interested in any other model's radiators and i can see what i can do.

    Thanks guys

I suggest people might like to read the article on cheaper aftermarket vs genuine OEM radiators posted by Surfwagon a while ago.

Thanks for the offer but I would not be fitting any dodgy 100 dollar radiators to my vehicle if I needed one. You get what you pay for in these products IMHO.

Yeah I can understand that and often use these thoughts throughout my life, you would also need to be aware that buying in bulk allows people to get items cheaper.. and people also need to be aware that not everyone feels the urge to mark costs up 1000% either as Im sure people know happens. Quite often one could look at something and say " that couldn't seriously cost $40" and they are usually right.. mark ups are massive.

I know that when I worked for a radiator company about 10 years back, the markups were massive.

Obviously its a case of each to their own, I'm just offering radiators which as far as I am aware and the seller, these are decent aftermarket replacements.

Ok, well really surprised we are getting nothing here.. straight off the bat there is a 6 month warranty also, along with the fact that the specs/flow/cooling capacity will be better than your standard radiator. PM me if its easier fellas.

Of course Holden are going to say their radiators are better, then want people to buy them. They probably found two of the dodgiest aftermarket ones they could find. Their tests are not wrong, but their test sample size isn't exactly that great is it...

Personally i'd rather not buy a $400 genuine radiator with plastic end caps that will shit itself just as fast as a $100-200 one.

Yeah thats exactly what I would have thought, i mean realistically, if we didn't toot our own horns about how good our quality is, why on Earth would anyone buy Australian Made.. we are more expensive due to high labour costs, our service as a generalisation is not as good as many overseas countries, as they are so focused on getting new business and retaining it.

I mean the offer remains if we can get enough interest.

PM me if its better for ppl and ill just add numbers to this page.

You can run either an Auto or Manual radiator if the car is a manual. You just leave the oil cooler lines unattached.
