Sozz your pushing the wrong buttons me thinks... Anywho anything that's V6 upto VY is ALDL (assembly line diag link) purchase a cable to suit, USB or serial The rest of your answers can be found on this site via a search.

Let me just put it simply, Holden used a slightly weird combo when making it, so basically anything you will need the special cable. All those cheap arse ones from China, Hong Kong, Europe, etc, won't work. Just fork out the $112 for one of these, USB ALDL Diagnostic Kit HOLDEN Commodore VR VS VT VX VY | eBay , which I know works, since I have one.

Also I believe the digital speedo can only be enabled by a Tech2 device. So go see a Holden dealer or someone with a Tech2.
