VY Calais immobiliser, busted remote =(

Hey guys, well heres the story. I had a few beers, and decided going swimming was a great idea. Before I chucked my keys onto the beach, they got splashed in my pocket. After returning to my car for a nap, I discovered my remote wont work. The alarm, I can deal with. It shuts off after a while. But I cant get the car started due to the immobiliser. I got a spare key, but its an hours drive and I cant get back for a few hours. I was wondering if therr was a backup way of disabling the immobiliser so I can get home and swap my keys.

Nope, short of hacking up wires and what not your best bet is to get the key
