vy k-frame

Hi there,
I need to replace my k-frame and i am a little confused
Some people are saying that vt 5.7 k frame wont fit and others say it will

I see plenty on ebay saying vt-vz k frame but i tried to contact holden directly and even they said that they have different part numbers and couldnt be sure

Anyone know for certain??

Further more does anyone have one to sell??

Mate if Holden says they have different part numbers then usually they are different

Not overly helpful to the op. but changing part numbers is good for traceability. For example if they changed supplier or design, they could still be interchangeable though.

Ok update....
Spoke with Holden, no idea
Spoke with several different wreckers, several different stories
spoke with HSV, unsure, referred me to Kent Engineering, and bingo definately all the same from vt - vz 5.7 kframes
