VY II adventra memory problem

Hi all

I have a LX8 Adventra full options

Normally when I jump in the car and unlock with my key every thing setup to my settings seat adjusts etc A couple of times lately when I have unlocked the car the seat adjusts to a totally wrong position actually to the previous owners settings, inc radio stations, mirrors the lot I re-adjust not saving the settings and the next time I open its back to normal, If I resave the settings everything is normal and it will randomly do it again.

It just seems totally random

any thoughts?

Hi there, Are you using the same key all the time? The two keys the car came with will have seperate memories & will reset all the cars settings to the previous driver. My Calais did some strange things when the battery was on its way out also.

Yes I always use my key and my wife always uses her key, previous owner was really tall so seat goes all the way back its pretty obvious when it does it, but its totally random when it does it. I have noticed to a couple of times my key hasnt unlocked the doors and I have had to hit the button a couple of times but this has not tied in with the random settings.
Its probably only happened 3-4 times in the last 12 months.
