If you don't get your licence back for another 7 months, why not wait?

Generally a respray will be to hide something.

Price sounds good, but get the mechanical side looked at as 7 months is a long time to wait and find that it has issues.

if its running a timing belt you may have some issues in the foreseeable future

sounds ok but the re-spray and new timing belt sounds dodgy

The dealer/seller was probably just making shit up about the timing belt, either that or they meant the serpentine/accessories belt which is worth about $30 and takes 2 minutes to change.

(VYs have a timing CHAIN, not a belt. It doesn't have any scheduled replacement and should last the life of the engine)
