    Default door trim question

    is it possible to remove the material part to be recovered without removing the full door trim? If so how?

    There not that bad you just need a shifter how ever be careful as the plastic bolts very easily snap off.

    It's a piece of piss. Remove door trim and you'll see the shitty little nut things that need to be removed.

    Yeah I know I used a shifter. However I wasn't patient and ended up stripping all the plastic thread off

    this new question is some what related... how do i remove the trim inside above the door... pictures would be awesome but not inportant

    Do you mean the piece that runs up the side of your windscreen? If so, remove the jesus handles and the cap and screw at the top of the B pillar, then it all unclips as you GENTLY prise it off. Careful, though, if it's brittle it can crack. Ive had mine of a few times to paint/vinyl wrap them and when installing my oil pressure gauge.

    yep thats the one.. ok sounds simple.. just have to work out how to get the handles off now lol

    The handles need to have the caps pried open with a sharp knife or similar tool, then there's a phillips head screw behind each cap/cover.They pry open from the bottom up, I think and there's two shitty bits of plastic that act as a hinge..... You'll see.
