Air Conditioning not cold

Hey all,

First off, I am in the middle of no where - other wise I would take it to get looked at.

The AC is was very cold, roughly around 26c, so I got a guy to Re-Gas - No change. He suggested to replace the compressor/drier reciever - Done.

Still no change.

Next thing change the TX valve - done.

You guessed it - no change.

The car is a Series 1 LS1.

I also changed the transistor to fix the fan issue on the climate control ( thanks to the forum) - which worked a treat!

It is starting to get real hot up here and the missus is not impressed!

Any help appreciated.

I don't have an answer for you however I don't consider 26c very cold. I had my old car regassed a few years ago and the guy who did it said the air was coming out at 3 degrees at the vent after the regass, so it was nice and cold inside

Maybe you will have to made a trip to the big smoke and have someone look at it to trouble shoot. Hope you get it sorted.

check your heater tap valve it might be sticking open and letting warm air mix with the cold air
