So I got my guards rolled the other day (awesome job no cracked paint) and while it was on the hoist the guy showed me my two front tyres were f***Ed and I had a snapped sway bar link pin. Then he told me my tyres were only wearing because my power steering rack was bent beyond repair. He quoted me $800 for a new rack and 2 hours labour. This seems high to me. Has anyone replaced one themselves? If so was it hard? And how much for the rack?
