My automatic car is like a kangaroo :(

Ok so today when my brother was driving my car he floored it once then this weird noise came from the exhaust which was not the normal noise. After that the car turned to crap, when he went to take off it went like a manual stalling (kangaroo like skippy) for a few seconds and then after having his foot down it turns normal again.

What my theory would be is it has something to do with the engine not getting the right amount of fuel


If anyone has had this problem could you please post what your solution was.

as if to say there is a lot of carbon build up in the exhaust or what? Sometimes when its idling/ reving to take off it just cuts out ( stalls ) then i have to put it into park and quickly start it but that happened today and then it took 2 shots top restart

Get underneath and give your cats a bit if a shake, see if you can hear any rattles.
