    Default VY climate control

    Hey all

I did a quick search and couldn't find a proper answer..

Im wondering how hard and what is needed to convert a VYII acclaim to climate control.. The AC is currently degassed so I thought it would be the perfect time to do it as I would need to have it regassed anyway

If anyone can shed some light it would be much appreciated

    Thanks

    VKC

    VK

Been covered multitude times. Way too much work and cost. The entire dash unit is different, wiring etc. Not worth the trouble.

Some of the older threads went into some detail. I recall someone who really delved deep into this matter and decided the effort and cost were just out of the question. I even thought about upgrading from single zone CC in my Berlina to dual zone, thinking it would be a lot simpler. It's not.

This is one of those jobs where you either buy a Berlina or wreck one for the whole system.

And I've done the same, looked right into it. Jack people say no coz it's just the easiest way, there is a massive list of what you need to replace to make it happen, plus you need to pretty much need to pull the entire dash out.

I'll search for the topics, there are heaps that delve into what you need if you search
