I've noticed a tapping noise coming from what sounds like th etop of the engine near the alternator when you rev the engine slightly and let it fall back to idle once it settles, ie it happend a second or so after the engine swings back on it's mounts so I don't think it's a stuffed engine mount as if the sump is hitting the k frame the noise would be immediate not delayed?
Anyone got any ideas what this could be?
