Hey has anyone done an electronic throttle conversion on a 5.7L? Just wondering are they more responsive? just interested.
I hope not it would seriously be a pain in the clacker!! I don't think my VZ DBW would be more responsive than say your VY with the same mods!
Usually some folk go from DBW throttle to cable due to there wasn't many options a few years back and they were probably old school and thought electrics can stuff up...but since places like Toqruerush(adapter for later GM DBW TB's)/Comtech/Nick Williams came to the party and the ease of tune-ability there's no need to revert back to cable
What are your plans for your car?
i dont see how the electronic throttle could be more responsive lol would be a waste of time and effort in my opinion
Most people i've spoken to would rather cable over DBW. So not sure why you'd want to go "backwards"

Thats what i though electronic is so much more accurate with the petentiometers etc it would be more presise? But meh just weighing up options![]()
If Anything there is a delay with a electronic throttle, I drive a toyota yaris manual with a electronic throttle, it drives me nuts, cause it has a delay, makes driving a manual annoying, use to it now but god took some time getting use to unlike the cable its always on time with your foot.
I know with the Honda's you can get an adjustable pedal delay box. Work's good. Wonder why no body has come up with it for the GM car's yet.
