Ok guys so im looking to book my car in the exhaust shop soon.
Wants to no you ideas on what system i should run. Iam looking for loud sporty sounds . cam n other mods to come later.
I was thinking
Packmakers into Twin hiflows. to 2.5 into single 2.5 with hotdog muff. and rear resie . Mild steell maybe stainless.
Or as the exhaust shop guy rekons full twin 2.1/4 two hotdogs n rear resie.
. i dont no witch way to go with it so throw me some ideas please
if your looking to do a lot of N/A mods probably go for the twin 2 1/4 as i heard they flow a little better... if your going to go for some boost in the future just save your money and get a single 2.5in and that way you can get a better one later on depending what boost you are running
Well i think the twin wont be as loud as id like i mean . its no v8 id like it to sound like one . AHAHAHA
if you want your ecotec to sound like a v8 then dont bother and just save up for a v8
CAM'S VY PHREDDIFIED AND LEATHERED!

if you want it loud, don't blame me when you do this and the cops get you..
Extractor's - Hi-Flow cat's - Str8 Twin 3" pipe no muffler's whole way
Grantee you turn every person you see head before they even see the car.. haha
OP, it will NEVER sound sporty or like a v8. This seems to be hard for people to comprehend on this website.
Twin 2 1/4" is the best 'sounding' exhaust you can get for a v6.
The end. They sound bloody brilliant, LS1 Cats are a good investment too - they gave my VS an excellent amount of crackle etc but the hiflows just changed everything completely and made it ridiculous. Cheap Hi Flows though.
However, you will loose power on the twin 2 1/4" so if that's important to you, I'd suggest a twin into single as you originally planned, twin 2 1/4" at the front merged into a single 2 1/2" from the cats back.
nathans VY Calais - 'Calais 2.0' | VT Equipe | VS Calais **SOLD!**

Previous Rides: 99 VT2 Super 6. (too much too list. was off its head$$$$$$$$)
More likely gain power, but lose bottom end torque. The stnadard exhaust flows well for low rpm driving, the more open your exhaust is, the better it rids the exhaust gas at higher rpm
