Question about Grilles

Hey will the ss grill fit a standard bar? On a VY

ALSOOO, if i get a VE Key blank will someone be able to grind the old key of my VY key onto the VE one so i have a new key body?? i just like the VE one

not sure about the grille but you cant have a ve style key for the vy as you would need all the electronics transfered over and have the metal bump put onto the ve to so it would have to make contact when the key is in the ignition

I think the grill just pops out and can be swapped, as long as its VY - this is how some idiots put chev badges on V6's

vy ss grill is smaller than the standard grill as you can see in these pics

it would fit onto an S packs front grille though i think... although im pretty sure their the same arent they?

You can buy ones to fit the Standard from bar, on eBay from time to time.

Anyone done one themselves as in with the SV8 has the venetions has anyone cut them out and put mesh behind it before? if ya know what i mean? cut around the emblem and cut the bars out and fill it in with mesh then stick the logo on?

I have an VY executive and bought a ss bar, tried to make the standard grill fit ,( it's alot bigger, as picture above is ) so .. had to get an ss grill which is the same size as an S pack.
