Default help!!! not starting after manual conversion

Hey guys i just converted my senator to manual. i used the original manual wiring harness, changed the ecu but my dash still reads that it is in drive. Now i can my hands on a BCM(body control module) and the other module located on the passenger kick panel, but i dont want to chase my tail if it could be something else. Oh and i also re-connected the old engine ecu from before now that reads park on the dash but still doesnt start. So yeh im a little confused because ive done many manual conversions on older cars (im a mechanic by trade), i would of bridged the in inhibitor switch but im changed the whole harness to the manual one so yeh this is a bit of a trip out for me... Thanks in advanced

You will need to get your engine conputer re programmed to a manual and if not using the orginal ecu computer will need to get it resetup for vats (its the security system run in the car. Everything needs to be programmed to the same vin number so they talk), also will need the cluster programmed for a manual.
    Hope this helps.
