Will VS T5 into VY conv=headache?

Hey all, I've been a lurker around here for a while and have finally gotten around to joining up after a mate of mine stumped me with a question. He has a vy acclaim auto and recently purchased a complete but wrecked S1 VS v6 with a t5, with the intent the install the T5 into his VY. What he and I would like to know is how many(if any) of the components such as the tailshaft, pedalbox, x-member out of the vs will bolt into the vy??

Seeing as he will most likely pay a mech to install it for him I am fairly sure it will end up being quite cost-prohibitive as a lot of customising/fabricating will be involved if parts dont swap! but would like to know for sure what mods are required and what parts may be simply swapped in before I tell him to just sell the whole lot on ebay and buy a complete getrag kit off fleabay instead. I have searched here for info but havent been able to find any conclusive answers so any info would be great. Cheers all

I know the gearbox itself will bolt up as both cars share the same 3.8 litre ecotec motor. But as for the
Pedal box and everything else, I have no clue

Edit: I think you're going to need a new tail shaft as well.
