Hey guys i have just bought a VY SS SERIES 1 manual and am wanting to start to modify the engine. i was talking to a mate of mine who said it had done to many K's to modify it to much and was just wanting to confirm or deny this if anyone knows?
its a 2002 and has done 180k
Cheers guys
any info would be good![]()
KM's only mean a part of a bigger picture. 180 is bugger all really if it's been serviced regularly.

Yep of coarse you can modify the engine any upgrades you do to your engine will prob require replacement of old worn out parts maybe thats what your mate was saying.
im lookin at doin
Comp cam (custom grind), valve springs, collets, retainers etc
Pacemaker Headers with twin 2.5 inch exhaust
Hi-flow Cats
port throttle body
and a growler otr
with a custom tune
should be puttin out 400+RWHP more or less afterwards
When it comes time to do the exhaust side of things, if you don't mind coming to Bunbury, I can do extractors, cats and the system at a really good price.
Well if your going to be camming it then yeah you will be replacing old parts any way so no real need to worry. NAAF does kick ass exhausts I'm sure he will make your beast sound good.
