aircon wont work in vy at all nothing :(

hello everyone im shannon and new to this site and this is my first post .

ok the problem is with my brothers car its a 03 vy its stock standard with auto.

the problem with car is the aircon wont work at all its been like this few months now . he lives in a little town so not alot of mechanics there . the problem is no one can fix it . they said for some reason the computers coming up sayn its -30 but they dont know whats causing it or how to fix it .


any help would be aweesome

ps hes tryd changing fuses changing relays in enginebay ect

Does the fan blow air at all ? and does the orange a/c light come on that is on the fan control.

i have similar problem. a/c light does glow tho and fan works but cant feel air con pump kick in and definately not pumping out cold air

-30 issue will be the evaporator temp sensor malfunctioning or the in car temp sensor if you have climate control.

CONDITION
One or more of the following conditions may occur
intermittently:
• A/C blows hot air when cool air is selected.
• A/C blows hot air and changes mode to feet.
• ‘X ‘ appears on the OCC display
• Code 15 stored in the OCC module.
• In car temp. sensor reads –40° on Tech II.
CAUSE
A poor connection inside the in-car temperature sensor
causes an open circuit.
